Lisa Keller

Lisa is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Biology. Her thesis is focused on studying terrestrial hot springs to better understand microbial community composition and interactions in highly dynamic environments. More specifically, she is studying Aquificales, a dominant bacterial order spanning a wide pH and temperature distribution in terrestrial thermal features.

Dr. Eric Boyd

Dr. Eric Boyd

Dr. Boyd is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Biology and the Principal Investigator of the Geobiology Lab. His research integrates laboratory- and field-based studies through application of contemporary microbial physiology and next generation sequencing, geochemical, bioinformatics, and isotopic techniques.
