Professor of Economics
Dr. Gallagher is an Assistant Professor of Economics at MSU. His Primary research field is environmental economics, with a broad interest in household finance, labor economics, and public economics. The central theme of his research is investigating how individuals evaluate and respond to environmental risks. Dr. Gallagher’s research has been published in leading Economics journals, and covered in the popular press by ABC, CBS, NPR, The Atlantic, The New York Times, Scientific American, and U.S. News & World Report, among other outlets.
