Professional Summary:

Each year, I teach Fish Biology, Advanced Fisheries, Research Design, and Special Topics in Aquatic Ecology. I work to collaborate with management and conservation agencies to identify key questions and unknowns in our scientific understanding that is critical for management decisions. My research involves a range of projects. Some examples include: examining tradeoffs in isolation management for cutthroat trout (inbreeding and population viability), exploring the potential ecological and evolutionary impacts of cutthroat and rainbow trout hybridization, as well as, examining effects of climate change and wildfire on stream temperature and subsequent fish community changes.
