Richard Ready is Professor in MSU’s Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics. Prior to joining MSU, he has been a faculty member at Penn State University, the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, and the University of Kentucky. Dr. Ready is an environmental economist who focuses on how individuals and businesses use and benefit from the services that ecosystems and the environment provide and on how individual human behavior affects the quality of the environment. His specific areas of focus are on impacts of and adaptation to climate change, invasive species, outdoor recreation, and landscape change. Dr. Ready is a currently serving as a member of the EPA Science Advisory Board’s Environmental Economics Advisory Committee.
