Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment

Wed, Oct 9 (All day) to Fri, Oct 11 (All day)
Location:
Jackson WY

The "Vulnerability Assessment under Climate Change" course is a collaboration between the DOI North Central Climate Science Center (NC CSC) and the FWS National Conservation Training Center (NCTC); where we are trying to bring popular, "tried and true", NCTC instructions out into the region.  The course will use examples and case studies specific to the North Central region.

Tuition is waved through the financial contributions of the NC CSC and NCTC.  However, participants will be required to cover their own travel, lodging and per diem expenses. The NC CSC, in collaboration with CSU, has limited funding to cover travel expenses for student and tribal members.  Students and/or Tribal members should contact Geneva Chong (geneva_chong@usgs.gov) if they are interested in using this offer.

The course will be Jackson, WY, Oct. 9-11, 2013.  The specific venue and lodging options are still being negotiated. Registered participants will be notified when that information is available.  More details on the course and registration are contained in the attached flyer (for questions on registration, contact Ashley Fortune (Ashley_Fortune@fws.gov).
