Paul Lachapelle is Professor in the Department of Political Science at Montana State University-Bozeman. His teaching and research spans many disciplines and practices including community climate change resiliency, diversity and inclusion, and social justice topics. His publications include the edited book, Addressing Climate Change at the Community Level (Routledge 2019).

Patrick Belmont is a Professor and Head of the Department of Watershed Sciences at Utah State University. His research program spans hydrology, geomorphology and climate science and he has a strong record of translating his science into useful information to inform policy and management decisions at regional and national scales.
