Dr. Richard Ready

Professor at Montana State University

Richard Ready is professor of economics in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics at Montana State University. His research explores how people benefit from, and value, the services provided by ecosystems. His research topics have included environmental health, climate change, invasive species, landscape change and outdoor recreation. From 2013 until 2018, he served on the EPA Science Advisory Board’s Environmental Economics Advisory Committee. Ready has a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources from Cornell University and master’s and doctoral degrees in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
