Robert is a Research Biologist with the USGS Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center in Bozeman and an Affiliate Faculty member at Montana State University. Robert received his PhD in Aquatic Ecology from Utah State University and continued as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Nevada, Reno, the US Forest Service, and as Mendenhall Fellow at the US Geological Survey. Robert conducts applied research to better understand human- and climate-related threats to aquatic ecosystems and assist managers in the conservation and management of natural resources.
