Professional Summary:

William W. Woessner has been teaching classes in applied hydrogeology at the University of Montana since 1981 including classes in hydrogeology, advanced hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, applied groundwater modeling, surface water –groundwater interaction and groundwater remediation. He received his B.A. in Geology from the College of Wooster, an M.S. in Geology from The University of Florida, an M. S. in Water Resources Management and a Ph.D. in Geology (Hydrogeology with a minor in Civil and Environmental Engineering) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 1978 to 1981 the served as an Assistant Research Professor at the Water Center of the Desert Research Institute, University of Nevada System.
