Professional Summary:
Our team's long term research goal is the environmental sustainable and economically feasible integration of grazing livestock into sustainable farming systems. Our objective is to investigate alternatives to traditional crop residue, cover crop, and fallow management using sheep to terminate cover crops, control weed, and insect pests, and enhance soil nutrient cycling. My graduate and undergraduate course range from a sophomore course on "livestock in sustainable production systems" to a graduate course in ruminant physiology and nutrition.
