Professional Summary:
I am an evolutionary geneticist interested in the processes of adaptation and speciation in plants. I joined the UM faculty in 2003, after completing a Ph.D. at Princeton and postdoctoral work at the University of Oregon and Duke University. My IoE-related research focuses on the genetic mechanisms and ecological correlates of divergence in traits such as flowering time and life-history, which are important for both current adaptation and responses to ongoing climate change.
