Professional Summary:

Craig M Lee, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Montana State University and a Research Affiliate at the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR). A major portion of his research focuses on the archaeo-ecology of alpine snow and ice with an emphasis on involving Indigenous communities and professionals from other disciplines in these unique spaces. University students regularly participate in fieldwork and analysis with Craig, and he teaches a seminar on the archaeology of the cryosphere ”The Archaeology of Ice and Snow" MSU (ANTY 358).
