Kaiser, Todd

Associate Professor
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Montana State University - Bozeman

My area of interests are in microfabricated sensors and actuators. I teach courses where students go in the clean room and fabricate transistors, micromechanical structures and solar cells. I am currently working on a radiation sensor for a NASA project for radiation tolerant computing.

Mumey, Brendan

Associate Professor
Computer Science
Montana State University - Bozeman

I am generally interested in interdisciplinary applied algorithms problems that require a combination of theory and practice solve. My current research interests are in computational biology (proteomics, systems biology and algorithms) and networking (algorithms for wireless and energy-aware networking, cloud computing).

Arrow Electronics

I'm a founding member of the Yellowstone Gateway Business Coalition and Upper Yellowstone Watershed Partnership, and a board member of the Yellowstone Environmental Research Council. My focus is on public-private conservation models in Paradise Valley (from Gardiner to Livingston). My PhD is in NLP and I'm an executive at Fortune 500 Arrow Electronics, overseeing Cloud and IoT technologies. I'm implementing a multi-node sensor network on the Upper Yellowstone alongside machine learning algorithms to better understand changes in the water ecology of the river.
