Cummins, Breschine

Assistant Research Professor
Mathematical Sciences
Montana State University - Bozeman

I am currently working with faculty in Land Resources and Environmental Science to develop mathematical models of agricultural and ecological processes. I am interested in developing other collaborations with researchers in ecology whose work would benefit from the addition of mathematical models.

Gedeon, Tomas

Professor
Mathematical Sciences
Montana State University - Bozeman

My primary research interest is Mathematical Biology, mostly in the areas of neuroscience, molecular biology and systems biology. I am also interested in differential equation and stochastic models of evolution of cooperation, epidemiology and co-evolution of species.

Greenwood, Mark

Associate Professor of Statistics
Mathematical Sciences
Montana State University - Bozeman

Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Wyoming (2004). Research includes statistical methods in climate change, environmental and educational statistics. Statistical methods often are related to high time frequency multiple time series using functional data analysis and generalized additive mixed models. I am also interested in clustering, classification and regression trees, and permutation testing methods. I have experience running Montana State University’s Statistical Consulting Center and working on collaborative research in many different disciplines.

Landguth, Erin

Assistant Research Professor
Division of Biological Sciences
The University of Montana - Missoula

My specific research focus is in Computational Ecology: developing, optimizing, and applying individual-based simulation programs for understanding relationships between biological processes, environment, and climate with population patterns across landscapes. My goal is to produce tools that will be valuable to natural resources managers, planners, decision makers, and scientists with a stake in maintaining biodiversity from genes to ecosystems.

McNulty, Jenny

Associate Dean
Mathematical Sciences
The University of Montana - Missoula

To be completed later.

Parker, Albert

Adjunct Instructor
Department of Mathematical Sciences/Center for Biofilm Engineering
Montana State University - Bozeman

My research interests include modeling complex biological systems such as biofilms in the environment and in the lab, Bayesian inverse problems, iterative sampling from high dimensional densities, bifurcation theory with symmetries, and annealing/clustering schemes. My appointment at MSU is split between research at the Center for Biofilm Engineering as a biostatistician, and teaching (about one course/semester) in the Department of Mathematical Sciences.

Reddy, Swarna

Adjunct Professor
Applied Arts and Sciences
The University of Montana - Missoula

To be completed later.

Robison-Cox, Jim

Associate Professor
Mathematical Sciences
Montana State University - Bozeman

I am a statistician interested in biostatistics, decision theory, mixed effects models, modeling ecological processes.
