The Wealth of Montana is an online multi-stakeholder decision support system that utilizes a smart information grid that will address this need and provide long-term value for Montana citizens and policy makers.
The Wealth of Montana project is a unique collaboartion between the Montana Instiutte on Ecosystems at the University of Montana and Montana State University and sciGaia. sciGaia builds core technology to support people across the globe who collaborate, innovate, create, and manage solutions for the world’s most pressing problems. The core technology for the Wealth of Montana project is an online multi-stakeholder decision support system that utilizes a smart information grid that will address this need and provide long-term value for Montana citizens and policy makers. IoE researchers provide necessary objective science-based data and expert insight on complex society and environment interactions for the Wealth of Montana. The shared vision is to set a more comprehensive and meaningful standard for policy evaluation and decision support for ecosystems in Montana. Over time, this system can be utilized for other locations globally.
