Research/Scholarly Work:
I am comparing the influence of artificial water sources on habitat use and behavior of bison and domestic cattle in the northern-glaciated plains of north-central Montana and southern Saskatchewan. The primary project goals are to provide management recommendations that lead to more historical grazing practices of reintroduced bison populations while also providing insight into more ecological friendly cattle grazing patterns that mimic historical grazing patterns which endemic prairie species evolved within.
