On the Road to Recovery: Grizzly bears, wolverine, and jaguar

Dr. Jodi Hilty, author and conservation researcher, will talk about the recovery of wildlife, including the grizzly bear, woverine, and jaguar.

With more than twenty years experience in conservation, research, and publication; Dr. Hilty enjoys applying science-based solutions to complex conservation challenges.  Now an independent consultant, she began working for The Wildlife Conservation Society’s North America Program in 2011 and was director of the program in 2007-2015 based out of Bozeman, Montana. Trained as a conservation biologist at the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Hilty has co-authored or co-edited three books in the last decade, her most recent book is Climate and Conservation: Landscape and Seascape Science, Planning, and Action. She also has served on boards and committees of conservation, academic organizations and agency entities, and currently serves as an advisor on the NAFTA North America Council.
