his year’s MT AWRA Conference will meet at the Holiday Inn West Yellowstone in West Yellowstone, MT for the 35th Annual Montana AWRA Conference on October 17-19, 2018! The keynote this year is a series of presenters and panelists discussing case studies of collaborative science, including work on Soda Butte Creek in and outside the boundary of YNP.  We’re offering a Presentation Tips and Skills Training (Weds 10AM-12PM, October 17th) lead by the MT State Professional Development Center.  The field trip will head into Yellowstone National Park to visit the Madison River, Artist Paint Pots, and exciting hydrogeology stops on Wednesday, October 17th (1pm-5pm). Due to transportation limitations, the field trip is capped at 55 people this year, so register ASAP. AWRA also has a new Water Legend to celebrate this year on Thursday evening.  To be more inclusive, we’re skipping the banquet and offering an extended evening of socializing, snacking, posters, and presentations. We hope to see you there!
