Billings Montana Climate Assessment Seminar

Dr. Cathy Whitlock, MSU Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences, will present on the Montana Climate Assessment Report. The Montana Climate Assessment is the first in a series of assessments that focus on climate trends and their consequences for three of Montana's vital sectors: water, forests, agriculture. The event will open with light refreshments and introductions at 6:30 with speaker starting at 7:00. The event is free and open to the public. The Billings Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby, the Billings League of Women Voters, and the Better Billings Sustainability Committee of the Yellowstone Valley Citizens’ Council are sponsoring the event. Attendees will have access to information about how each of these three community groups is working to address the changing climate.
