People

The IoE is a diverse community of people.  Currently the IoE includes faculty fellows, affiliated faculty and partners, graduate fellows, and staff.


Members of the IoE Team include operational partners and IoE staff at one of the two operational Hubs: Montana State Universitiy (406-994-2374) or The University of Montana (406-243-4848).


IoE Faculty Fellows are MUS faculty who are directly supported by the Institute to lead interdisciplinary research, education, or engagement initiatives or projects. Fellows fill a vital community role that benefits faculty and departments while advancing Institute goals.


IoE Graduate Fellows are outstanding MUS graduate students who 1) work in interdisciplinary areas related to the IoE's mission and 2) were competitively selected to receive direct IoE support.


IoE Undergraduate Interns are outstanding MUS undergraduate students who gain hand-on research experiences working with IoE projects and membes of the IoE communitiy of scholars.


IoE Affiliated Faculty and Partners are academic leaders, researchers, scholars, educators, professionals, and partners who support interdisciplinary environmental and ecological sciences research, education, and engagement activities of the Institute.
