Resources for teaching about climate - December 2013

There are a lot of great resources for classroom teachers and informal educators who want to teach their students about climate science (We're even working on a few of our own!)

These are a few I've been checking out lately. Enjoy!

The Climate Literacy and Energy Awareness Network (CLEAN): An extensive searchable collection of educational resources. (http://cleanet.org/clean/literacy/index.html)

NASA resource: This data visualization shows projected changes in temperature over the coming decades.

I haven't had the chance to spend much time here yet, but it looks really cool! Climate Change Live, a distance learning adventure created by the U.S. Forest Service, Prince William Network and other partners. (http://www.climatechangelive.org)

And of course, there's "Weather and Climate for Teachers," a 3-credit graduate course in Spring 2014 taught by Jordy Hendrikx, an experienced online teacher and Earth Sciences professor at Montana State University.

Do you have other resources to add? Be sure to share them!
