Litt, Andrea

Assistant Professor
Montana State University - Bozeman
Professional Summary:

My primary research interests include understanding the effects of abiotic and biotic factors on wildlife communities and populations, studying a diversity of animal taxonomic groups that will best help to answer the questions of interest, and collecting information that can be used to develop practical solutions to ecological problems and guide policy and management. My research questions generally fall into tow interrelated areas: 1) quantifying responses of animals to various human activities including invasive plants, altered disturbance regimes, and land-use and climate change, and 2) exploring the mechanisms of those responses to develop tools for restoration. I teach introductory biology, mammalogy, and a graduate course regarding wildlife-habitat relationships.
